Major Upcoming University Fair, Held at BFIS!- On November 15th BFIS will be hosting the Council of International Schools (CIS) Pre-Forum Fair, an opportunity for admissions officers from universities from around the world to meet with potential students and current faculty.
The fair will take place at BFIS from 6pm to 8:30pm. We would like to formally welcome parents to encourage their students pre-register for the event via the link in the attached flyer. Parents are invited to join the students at 8:00pm.
Probably not, but it’s something we all have. The digital tattoo is the permanent part of our lives and ourselves that we share on the internet and through social media. While that doesn’t sound important, it is increasingly becoming more and more prominent in students’ lives as it can affect their interactions with each other, bullying, university placement, job placement, and many other aspects of their lives.

Now that MAP has finished and the data has been analyzed, your students in grade 6-10 will be coming home with their scores to share their success with you! On Friday, October 28, students will be given both their results and the parent information guide. We encourage you to review the results with your students to see where their skills and areas of growth lie.

We will be discussing the subject choices process for the students graduating in May 2019, together with university information. For more information on IB subjects and levels, you can visit the IB website here.

Parents are encouraged to make appointments with subject teachers during the PTC on November 11th to discuss subject choices.
