Hanoch Piven, a member of the BFIS community with a daughter in High School, will be presenting his work and doing a workshop with ES students on November 23 & 24. We are now collecting as much STUFF as possible to use in making assemblage style portraits during his workshop. Stuff such as cartulina, styrofoam, paper towel rolls, egg cartons, bottle tops, screws, nails, old CD’s, stickers, pins, old toys and figurines, combs hairpins, feathers, old computer parts, shells, puzzle pieces, buttons and whatever else you can think of! These things can be delivered to the plastic bin on the white shelf outside the art room door with the attached image.
*Students in grades 3-5 need to bring a piece of cardboard or heavy paper (cartulina) size A3 or 11×17″ with their name and class code on one side as soon as possible and no later than Friday, November 20th. They can deliver these to the art room at any time. Thank you!
