Our visit to the farm

Written by AngieB. Posted in Nursery

On May 21st both Nursery classes went to visit a farm. It was such a wonderful experience!

The students made long lasting and life changing memories at the farm as they gained a deeper understanding of rural life. All the classroom lessons and storybooks came to life that day as the students got to see, touch, feed and pet real farm animals. Through this hands-on experience they explored new ideas, discovered their own strengths and awakened new interests.

Will You Need a Legalized IB Diploma?

Written by Paul Fulce. Posted in MS/HS Principal

Legalised Diplomas- For students attending university in Spain or who may require professional recognition here in the future, it is mandated that their IB Diploma Results Certificate be legalized (apostilled) in Geneva.  This may apply to other countries, as listed by the IB each year, and students will be notified of this.  Students will be sent a form to complete a request for legalization after Semana Santa.   The IB charges a fee for this service of €107, to be paid to Imma Sanchez in the Business Office by June 1. The documents will be received in August or September, after the issue of the IB results in July, and students will be notified when they are ready for collection.

Conditions for the Award of the Diploma can be read here.

Additional information for Spanish students is available here.

Students already have their IB Candidate PIN and the information required to get their IB results on Monday July 6.  If there are any problems, I can be contacted that day and for two weeks following.  Mr Fulce and Ms Chabrow will also be available, along with Ms Gausa, who will help students with the documentation required for Spanish universities.

Please note the following instructions from the IB:

Coordinators must inform candidates that the IB will not issue results to or discuss results with candidates, their legal guardian(s) or representative(s). The Diploma Programme coordinator is the intermediary for any communication with the IB.  Results are not issued to coordinators or any other person by telephone.
